Colored Dreadlocks

Colored dreads are dreadlock extensions in colours that hair does not grow in: blue, turquoise, emerald, green, pink, lavender and red with black. Most of them are synthetic, because kanekalon holds bright colours well, and some are human hair sets in green and pink tones.

Synthetic colored dreads

In synthetic fiber the colour is added when the fiber is produced. It does not fade or oxidise, and one batch matches the next. Smooth and textured colored dreads are kanekalon, so keep them away from heat above 60–70 °C. One install is worn for 1.5–2 months, and a set lasts 2–3 installs.

Human hair colored dreads

Human hair dreads in green, emerald and pink tones are made from 100% Remy hair and last for years. Human hair can be dyed darker later, but bleaching it lighter is not recommended, so choose a light colour when you order. See all natural dreads.
