Viking Brown Grey Ash Blonde Ombre Synthetic Dreads, Crochet Dread Extensions
Smooth DreadlocksFrom $60.00
Viking dreads are dreadlock extensions for a Nordic look: textured and smooth dreads in ash, grey and black-grey tones, and human hair dreads in Scandinavian blonde, silver grey and ash grey. Every dread is crocheted by hand in our studio.
Textured or smooth
Textured dreads are backcombed, crocheted and set with boiling water, so they keep the bumps of dreads grown over years. This is the most rugged viking look. Smooth dreads have an even surface and are treated with steam. Both are made of kanekalon, so keep them away from heat above 60–70 °C. One install is worn for 1.5–2 months, and a set lasts 2–3 installs.
Human hair viking dreads
Human hair sets in Scandinavian blonde, silver grey and ash grey are made from 100% Remy hair and last for years. They take heat, so the sauna is fine. Standard lengths are 25–60 cm, and any length from 5 to 120 cm can be made to order. See all natural dreads.
How many dreads you need
For a full head with DE dreads you need 40–45 for thin hair, 50–55 for medium hair and 60–65 for dense hair. With SE dreads you need 45–50, 60–65 and 70–75. The dread calculator gives the exact number for your hair.
Care
Wash at most once a week with shampoo diluted 1:5 with water, on the scalp only, and let the dreads air-dry. Skip conditioner and never comb the dreads.
