Skip conditioner entirely; synthetic fiber does not absorb it, and product residue dulls the matte finish.

Avoid high heat — no saunas, no hot blow dryers, no flat irons. Sustained heat above ~150 °C warps the boiling-water-set surface permanently. Low heat (warm water during installation adjustments) is fine; sustained hot air is not.

Between wear cycles, unbraid carefully, coil the set loosely, and store in a breathable cloth bag away from sunlight. These are reusable across installs with a long service life — the textured section retains shape across many install-and-removal cycles. Day one looks like install ten.

Ash pairs across most aesthetics. The cool undertone works with silver jewelry, dark clothing, minimalist looks. It also reads well against warm earth tones for a deliberate temperature-contrast styling choice.
