Blonde Dreads

Our blonde dreads are dreadlock extensions crocheted by hand in every shade of blonde: platinum, honey, wheat, sandy, creamy and ash blonde, plus ombres from brown to blonde and mixed sets. There are human hair sets, smooth and textured synthetic dreads, and curly blonde dreads.

Human hair blonde dreads

Natural blonde dreads are made from 100% Remy hair. They take heat and last for years. Human hair can be dyed darker later, but bleaching it lighter is not recommended, so choose your blonde when you order. After you order, Danila makes one dread first and sends you a photo to confirm the colour. See all natural dreads.

Synthetic blonde dreads

In synthetic fiber the colour is added when the fiber is produced, so blonde synthetic dreads do not fade or oxidise, and one batch matches the next. Smooth and textured dreads are kanekalon, and curly dreads are heat-resistant henlon. One install is worn for 1.5–2 months, and a set lasts 2–3 installs.

How many dreads you need

For a full head with DE dreads you need 40–45 for thin hair, 50–55 for medium hair and 60–65 for dense hair. With SE dreads you need 45–50, 60–65 and 70–75. The dread calculator gives the exact number for your hair.
