Textured Natural Blonde is made by hand from warm natural blonde 100% Remy human hair, in DE or SE format, from 25 to 60 cm long. Each dread has a bumpy, lived-in surface and boho decorations. Natural blonde with a lived-in surface
The colour is a single warm natural blonde. There is no ombré, no gradient and no contrasting highlight. Think of sun-bleached wheat, dried hemp rope or natural linen. The shade stays even from the root to near the tips. The loose wavy ends open slightly lighter, close to platinum, so the set looks sun-aged rather than freshly coloured. The textured surface is the main feature. Small bumps and raised knot sections run along each dread. They look like the irregular surface of naturally grown dreads after months of wear. The maker crochets these bumps in from the start, with extra hook passes at set intervals. The set looks broken-in from the first install.
The decorations match the natural palette. Some of the dreads carry round wooden beads in white. Several dreads are wrapped with cross-stitch thread in three colours: white, copper-brown and olive green. Small silver charms, a wing, a rose and a lotus, hang at different heights. Textured Natural Blonde is made from Russian hair, 100% natural Remy (what is Remy hair?). The cuticles all run in one direction, which keeps the hair soft and smooth to the touch. A crochet hook and a comb are the only tools the maker uses, and there is no glue in any set. The final check of every set is done by a maker with more than ten years of experience. This check covers length, thickness (0.8–1 cm), even spacing of the bumps and a consistent blonde tone.
Textured Natural Blonde: formats and set sizes
- DE: each double-ended dread folds over a thin braid of your own hair, with no loop needed. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.
- SE: a strand of your hair is passed through the loop on each single-ended dread. That strand is then braided around the dread.
- Permanent install: the dreads stay in for good, crocheted into your hair. With a natural set, plan a correction once every 3–4 months.
Set sizes start at 10 dreads and rise in steps of five, up to 55. Lengths run from 25 cm (10″) up to 60 cm (24″). For accents or partial blending, 15–25 pieces is enough, while a full head usually takes 40–50 DE. Every shade and texture is in the full collection.
Natural blonde works well as the neutral base of a mixed install. Mix a few into brown dreads as highlights, or install the whole set for textured blonde all over.
Textured Natural Blonde: care
- Limit washing to once a week or less. Dilute shampoo with water at a ratio of 1:5 and apply it only to your scalp.
- To stop the blonde going yellow, switch to a purple toning shampoo on every other wash.
- Do not use conditioner. The dreads are held by thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids come loose.
- Keep combs and brushes away from the dreads. Separate tangles with your fingers. If a knot is badly tangled, you may carefully cut it off.
- The textured surface keeps its shape through washing.

The set is reusable. A temporary braid-in install lasts 1.5–2 months, after which you take the dreads out and can put them in again. Air-dry the dreads and store them loose, without pressure. Should I choose DE or SE for Textured Natural Blonde?
DE with 40–50 pieces is the best choice if you want a full look over your whole head. SE is the better fit for 20–30 pieces in a partial install, for example textured accents among smoother dreads. A permanent install means the dreads are crocheted in and left in place.
