Textured Boho Brown Ombré is a handmade set of natural DE or SE dreads in 100% Remy human hair, 25–60 cm long, fading from medium brown into wheat blonde. Each dread has a bumpy, worn-in texture and boho decorations: lace, thread wraps, charms and beads. The set is made to look like dreads you have worn for months.

Worn-in texture from the first day
Each dread has small raised knots along its length. On natural dreads, these bumps form slowly over months of sleep, washing and movement. Here the maker builds them into the crochet structure with extra passes of the hook. The set looks broken in and blends well with matured dreads. At the roots you get a warm medium brown that sits near chestnut. It moves gradually into light wheat blonde toward the tips, with no hard line. It looks like hair lightened by a summer outdoors. The loose wavy tips spread out in the lighter tone and soften the textured body above. To keep the gradient even, we sort each small batch by hand.
Lace, charms and thread wraps
White crochet lace ribbons run alongside some of the dreads. Thread wraps in green, brown, orange, golden and white add colour without covering the brown. Silver rose and lotus charms sit at different heights, and burnt wooden beads match the earthy tones. If you want other charms or accent colours, the set becomes a custom order and is made from scratch.

That strand is then braided around the dread. Sets run from 10 to 55 dreads, and the length can be anything from 25 cm (10″) to 60 cm (24″). The full natural dreads collection has other shades and textures. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.
Mixing this set with others

Caring for Textured Boho Brown Ombré
- Washing: no more often than once a week. Dilute shampoo at a ratio of 1 to 5 with water, apply it just to the scalp and rinse it all out well.
- No conditioner: the dreads sit on thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids come loose.
- Tangles: never use a comb or brush on the dreads. Use your fingers to work tangled tips apart. If a knot is badly tangled, you may carefully cut it off.
- Wear and reinstall: a temporary braid-in install stays in for 1.5–2 months, after which you take it out and put it back in. A permanent crochet install stays in for good and needs a correction every 3–4 months.
Between installs, let the dreads dry fully and store them loosely. We shot the photos in soft natural light, and colour can look different from one screen to another. Each batch of natural hair differs a little from the last. On a textured ombré, this suits the lived-in look.
