Blonde Dreads is a set of natural DE or SE dreads, 25 to 60 cm long, made by hand from 100% Remy human hair in a natural blonde. Install the set temporarily by braiding it in, or permanently with a crochet hook.

Natural blonde: real hair crocheted by hand
Every dread is made from Russian Remy human hair, which keeps the cuticles facing one direction (what is Remy hair?). It feels soft and is comfortable on the head. Choosing between SE and DE? The two formats are compared side by side in our format comparison guide.
Each Blonde dread is made by hand with a crochet hook and a comb. The result is dense and tight, and it keeps its shape through repeated reinstalls. The final check on every set is done by a maker with more than ten years of experience. Our studio has made and shipped 5,000+ sets in more than 13 years.
The colour is a plain natural blonde. Tips are finished loose and lightly wavy for natural movement. Some dreads carry charred wooden beads, dark copper disc charms and golden thread wraps. Bead, charm and thread colour can be changed on request. Your set may come with beads that differ from those in the photos.
A DE dread has no loop; it is folded over a thin braid of your own hair. On an SE dread, the loop goes onto a strand of your hair, and that strand is braided around the dread. Either type works as a temporary install or can be crocheted in for good. Both also blend into a grown-out set. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.
Lengths: 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 cm. Each set holds between 10 and 55 dreads, going up in steps of 5. If you want blonde mixed with a different shade, add another set to your order. A temporary install stays in for 1.5–2 months; after that you take it out and can reinstall it later. A permanent install stays in for good and needs a correction every 3–4 months. Wash once a week at most. Apply shampoo diluted five to one only to the scalp and rinse thoroughly.
Do not use conditioner. The dreads are held by thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids come loose. Keep combs and brushes away from the dreads. If tips get tangled, separate them with your fingers. A knot that won’t come apart can be carefully cut off.

Blonde also works as an accent shade. For highlights, mix 10–20 SE dreads into a dark brown or caramel base. Pulled into a half-up bun, the textured lengths and wavy tips show a clear contrast.
A temporary set can go back in cycle after cycle. Between installs, take the dreads out gently, let them dry lying flat and store them without folding.
We shoot every product photo in natural light, avoiding both flash and direct sunlight. The colour may look slightly different depending on your display. Some variation between batches of natural hair is expected.
