Natural Black with Brown Hue is a set of DE or SE natural dreads, 25 to 60 cm long, handmade from 100% Remy human hair. The colour is natural black with a soft brown undertone. Jet-black dreads can look flat, and dark-brown ones can read too warm for black hair. This set sits in between. The shade is close to what the hair industry calls 1B: off-black with a warm undertone. It looks more like real hair than single-tone black, yet stays dark enough to blend with very black hair.

Only 100% natural Remy human hair goes into the dreads of this set (what is Remy hair?). In Remy hair, the cuticles of every strand point in one direction along their full length. This keeps the dark surface smooth and the hair soft through daily wear. Under direct light, a single dread shows a faint chocolate warmth rather than a flat matte black.

You can order this set in either of two formats:
- DE (double ended): these dreads have no loop and fold over a thin braid of your own hair. Most people pick this format when covering the whole head. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.
- SE (single ended): each dread ends in a loop, and a strand of your hair is threaded through it. Then that strand gets braided around the dread.
A full-head install usually takes 40–50 DE dreads. For accents or a partial install, 15–25 dreads are enough. Lengths range from 25 cm (10″) up to 60 cm (24″), and you can pick any of them. Natural Black with Brown Hue: wear and care
A temporary braid-in install stays in for 1.5–2 months. After that you remove them, lay them flat to air-dry, and install them again. Dreads put in with a permanent crochet install stay in. A natural set that is installed permanently needs a correction every 3–4 months.
Don’t wash more often than once a week. Dilute the shampoo with five times as much water, massage it into your scalp and rinse it all out well. A sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo helps keep the brown undertone intact. Do not use conditioner. It makes the thin braids of your own hair, which anchor the dreads, come loose.

Will Natural Black with Brown Hue fade over time?
Natural black is a stable shade and does not shift noticeably. After a long time in the sun, the brown undertone might turn a touch warmer. A sulfate-free shampoo is enough; no toning shampoo is needed.
Can I dye Natural Black with Brown Hue a different colour later?
Only darker. Semi-permanent or permanent dye in a deeper tone works. Bleach should never go on natural dreads, because it remains inside and slowly harms the hair. I ordered the black wolf dreads and they are stunning. They arrived earlier than predicted too. I would also like to note, after I initially purchased my order, I contacted the seller to make changes to my order and he was friendly and willing to customize my order, but obviously it would have taken longer to receive as he would have to make them to order. So instead I just went with what he already had in stock because I am too impatient to wait, and I can tell you I was not disappointed. I can't wait to wear them. Will definitely buy again.
