Black & Ash Grey Mix is a natural set of DE or SE dreads, 25 to 60 cm long, made by hand from black and ash grey 100% Remy human hair. Most dreads are black with a warm brown hue. Ash grey accent dreads, made from a mix of black and ash hair, give a salt-and-pepper look that reads as natural greying. The contrast looks grown in, not assembled.

Black & Ash Grey Mix: two shades in one set
The dark dreads are a rich near-black with a brown undertone. They are not blue-toned and not flat. The accent dreads blend black and ash-toned hair into a silver effect. It looks like greyed hair rather than bleach. Their tips are lighter, like hair faded by the sun.
Your braider decides where the grey dreads go. Scatter them evenly for an all-over salt-and-pepper effect. Cluster them near the face for framing, or at the temples. The dark base stays dominant, and the grey is still clearly visible. Each dread has a slightly textured surface. Both shades end in loose wavy tips that blend at the bottom of the set.

Black & Ash Grey Mix: care
Washing: Dilute shampoo with water at 1:5 and use it on the scalp only, once a week. A sulfate-free formula helps keep the dark shade deep. To keep the ash dreads cool in tone, use a silver toning shampoo on alternate washes.
No conditioner: Your dreads are fixed to thin braids made from your natural hair. Conditioner makes those braids loosen, so skip it.
Tangles: Use your fingers to pull tangled tips apart. If a knot is very tangled, you may carefully cut it off. Keep combs and brushes away from the dreads at all times.

Wear and reuse
A temporary braid-in install lasts 1.5 to 2 months of wear. After that, the dreads are removed and can be installed again. A permanent crochet install stays in, and the dreads need a correction every 3 to 4 months. Before storage, let both shades air-dry fully and keep the set uncompressed.

im 47 and started getting silver streaks last year, didnt want to commit to dyeing or cutting it all off so these were a middle ground experiment. the black and ash grey mix is way more flattering than the harsh box dye greys you see online, looks like its actually growing out of my own scalp. shipping to toronto took about 5 weeks (made to order, fair). my coworkers had a whole debate at lunch whether i had cut my hair or not, nobody guessed extensions. one tip, the wooden bowl my dog tried to chew them off the counter so dont leave the package out lol
Die Mischung aus Schwarz und Aschgrau ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe.
