Description
Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads are natural DE or SE dreads, made by hand from 100% Remy human hair in creamy brown, dusty beige and platinum blonde, 25–60 cm long. The colour shifts from creamy brown at the roots through dusty beige in the middle to platinum blonde at the tips. There are no hard lines. Loose wavy ends open into near-white. Installed, the set looks like real dreads that have slowly faded in the sun.

Blonde shades that look worn
On fair hair the creamy roots disappear. On darker hair the beige tones bridge the gap. The blonde looks sun-faded, not salon-processed. SE vs DE installation guide.
The surface looks like mature, naturally formed locs, with slight irregularities, small bumps and a soft fuzz. It is not smooth and factory-clean. The effect is strongest in the middle, where the crochet work is densest. Our makers add extra crochet passes to build this worn texture on purpose.
Some dreads carry round white wooden beads, which stay soft and pale next to the blonde. Thread wraps in brown, white and beige cross-stitch patterns add handmade texture without new colours. A strip of white crochet lace runs alongside one dread. Small silver feather charms and a bronze dreamcatcher ring sit at different heights. The decorations are earthy and boho, and all of them blend with the blonde. Want different beads or charms? That becomes a custom order, remade from scratch.
The hair is 100% Remy human hair from Russia (what is Remy hair?), with every cuticle facing the same way, root to tip. It feels soft and smooth. A crochet hook and a comb are the only tools our makers use to shape each dread by hand. No glue, wrapping or machines are used at any stage. Every natural set is made once you order it.
With no loop at all, a DE dread simply folds over a thin braid of your own hair. For SE, the loop at the end goes onto a strand of your hair, and that strand is braided around the dread. A full head usually takes around 40–50 DE dreads, while accents need about 15–25. Lengths run from 25 cm (10″) up to 60 cm (24″), and any of them can be chosen. To compare options, browse every shade and length in our natural dreads collection. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.
Mixing and care
This beige blonde mixes well with warmer sets. To mix, you just buy a second set together with this one. For example, take 10 Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde dreads and add 10 or 20 from a warm blonde set. For contrast, darker boho dreads work well next to this set too.
- Washing: No more often than weekly. Dilute shampoo at one part to five parts water and use it only on your scalp. A purple toning shampoo every two weeks keeps the platinum tips from turning yellow.
- Conditioner: Do not use it. The dreads sit on thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids slip loose.
- Colour care: A sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo helps keep the gradient intact.
- Tangles: Never use a comb or brush on the dreads. Work tangled tips apart by hand. If a knot is badly tangled, you may carefully cut it off.
A temporary braid-in install stays in for 1.5 to 2 months. Then it is taken out, air-dried and put in again. A permanent crochet install is never taken out; it just needs a correction every 3–4 months.
Every set gets a final check from a maker with more than ten years of experience before it ships. On this multi-tone blonde, that check includes how even the gradient is across the set. These photos were taken in soft natural light, though the shade may look slightly different on your screen. Each batch of natural hair can differ a little from the last.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I keep the platinum tips of the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads from turning yellow?
Platinum is the lightest shade in the collection and turns warm fastest. Sun, hard water and chlorine all push it toward yellow. Every one to two weeks, wash with a purple toning shampoo. Rinse after swimming, because chlorine can push platinum toward green.
Why do the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads need more colour care than darker ombrés?
The platinum tips are lightened real hair, done at the studio before dreading. That makes them the most colour-sensitive part of the set. The creamy brown roots are stable. Toning every two weeks keeps the tips from drifting warm.
Can I dye the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads darker later?
Yes. Being human hair, these dreads accept darker dye, both semi-permanent and permanent. You can deepen the roots, warm the beige middle or shift the tips toward champagne. Avoid bleach: it stays trapped inside the dread and harms the hair over time. For a custom set in a lighter or very different palette, email daniladaddydread@gmail.com. Dyed dreads can feel a bit fluffier afterwards. A few passes with a crochet hook bring the density back, and the Academy shows how.
Which hair colour suits the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads?
Light brown, honey or natural blonde hair blends cleanly, and the creamy roots disappear into it. On darker hair the beige middle bridges the contrast. For black hair, we make a custom fade with dark roots to match and platinum tips. Email daniladaddydread@gmail.com.
Should I choose DE or SE for the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads?
DE suits a full install, which usually means 40–50 pieces and more volume. It shows the full creamy-to-platinum gradient across the head. SE fits a partial install of about 20–30 pieces with less volume, like light accents in darker hair.
How soon can I get the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads?
Because every natural set is made to order, few are ever in stock. To ask about availability, write to daniladaddydread@gmail.com. Shipping cost and timing for your country appear under the buy button.
Can I get the Creamy Brown to Platinum Blonde Dreads with other decorations or a custom gradient?
We can swap the beads, thread wraps, lace, feather charms or dreamcatcher ring. We can also adjust the gradient, for example warmer beige, cooler platinum or different transition points. To match the shade, one photo of your natural hair is enough. You get photos during the making of your set and approve it before shipping. Email daniladaddydread@gmail.com.
Customer Reviews
the ombre is so smooth and natural looking. I sent a photo of my hair and they matched my roots almost exactly which is wild because i've ordered from other places and they always come out way too dark. the wraps and beads look way better in person than the website pics, photos really dont do them justice. shipping was about 5 weeks total to portland (didnt realize natural means they make them to order, but the wait was so worth it).
Shipping was fast. I asked the seller to send me pics during the making process so I could have peace of mind. Thank you so much for putting up with me! Super happy with my new dreads. Thanks!
