Care: Wash weekly maximum with shampoo diluted 1:5 in water — scalp only, rinse thoroughly. Skip conditioner; the synthetic fiber does not absorb it and the coating softens the bumpy texture. Do not comb or brush the textured dreads — gently separate any tangled tips with your fingers to preserve the bumpy surface.

Avoid direct high heat — saunas, open flames, hot tools, and full-blast hair dryers will deform the synthetic fiber, so air dry only after washing. Sleep in a loose braid or sleep bonnet on a satin pillowcase to reduce friction on the ridged surface. Store flat, without compression, between install cycles.
