Description

Brown & Emerald Green Dreads are natural DE or SE dreads, handmade from 100% Remy human hair and sold in 25 to 60 cm lengths. The main colours are warm chocolate brown and layered emerald green. They don’t look like a colourist’s work; they look like they grew that way. Depending on the light, the green shifts from deep moss to bright jewel tone. Every set arrives with decorations already attached: a polymer-clay bead, a wing charm and cross-stitch thread wraps.

Remy human hair in brown and green

Our raw material is 100% 10A Remy human hair from Russia (what is Remy hair?). The brown is the hair’s natural colour, and the emerald is dyed in our studio. Not sure how you want to attach them? Both options are covered in our guide to SE vs DE formats.

A crochet hook and a comb are the only tools used to make each dread by hand. Nothing is pressed or ironed. Every dread is checked for thickness and length. Before it leaves, the complete set is checked one last time by a maker with more than ten years of experience. We only start a natural set once it has been ordered.

The tips are left partly loose and wavy, with brown and green ends blended together. The dread bodies mix moss green, forest green and bright emerald with warm chocolate brown. No two dreads look the same, and that variation is intentional.

DE or SE, lengths and set sizes

With no loop at all, a DE dread simply folds over a thin braid of your own hair. SE dreads have a loop at one end that goes onto a single strand of your hair. That strand is then braided around the dread so it stays in place. Both formats add length, volume and colour. Want to see other colours side by side? All the other shades are in our natural dreads collection. Extension is the permanent format: the dreads are crocheted into your own dreads and stay in, with a correction every 3–4 months.

Brown & Emerald Green Dreads come in eight lengths, from 25 cm (10″) to 60 cm (24″). Set sizes range from 10 dreads to 55. A full head usually takes 40–50 DE dreads, while 20–30 is enough for a partial or accent install. To mix in other shades, order a second set alongside this one. For example, add 10 brighter emerald or lighter warm-brown SE dreads. Nothing about the Brown & Emerald Green set changes.

Caring for Brown & Emerald Green Dreads

  • Wear: a temporary braid-in install lasts 1.5–2 months, after which the set comes out and can go back in. A permanent crochet install stays in for good, with a correction due every 3–4 months.
  • Washing: no more often than weekly. Dilute shampoo with water at 1 to 5, massage it into the scalp and rinse thoroughly.
  • No conditioner: the dreads sit on thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids come loose.
  • Tangles: never use a comb or brush on the dreads. Work any tangled tips apart by hand. A badly tangled knot may be carefully cut off.

Between installs, take the set out carefully, dry it flat and store it loosely. Like all natural dreads, they develop some fuzz over time.

For styling, pull the top half into a loose knot and let the emerald tips fall below. A low ponytail shows the thread wraps and the bead. Half-up styles and braided crowns work too.

Over 5,000 sets have left our studio during more than 13 years of work. Repeat orders from long-term clients are common.

Every photo is taken in consistent natural light, but screens vary. Natural human hair also varies between batches. That is real material, not a defect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the emerald green on Brown & Emerald Green Dreads fade?

The brown is natural donor colour. The emerald is dyed in the studio on 100% Remy human hair and holds well through normal wear. It may deepen slightly over time. A green toning shampoo or colour mask every 2–3 washes helps keep it saturated.

Can I change the decorations or order a custom version of this set?

The polymer-clay bead, wing charm and thread wraps are attached by hand. You can slide them off and add your own. Want other decorations or another green? Send a picture of your natural hair to daniladaddydread@gmail.com. Danila matches the colours and shares photos as your set takes shape, so you see it before it ships.

Which natural hair colour suits Brown & Emerald Green Dreads?

Warm brown, chestnut or dark blonde hair blends most easily. The brown dreads disappear into the base, and the emerald reads as intentional colour. On black hair the contrast is stronger. On blonde hair the brown stands out, and a second set of lighter SE dreads can soften the transition.

Can I blend Brown & Emerald Green Dreads into my existing dreads?

Yes. You can wear them with your own dreads. For brighter accents, add another set, such as 10–15 SE dreads in a more vivid emerald. Because each dread varies in colour, the mix looks natural rather than assembled.

DE or SE: which format suits Brown & Emerald Green Dreads?

DE is the better fit for a full head of about 40–50 dreads, with brown and emerald spread throughout. For a partial install of roughly 20–30 dreads, SE scatters green accents through your own hair.

How soon will my Brown & Emerald Green Dreads arrive?

Since every natural set is made after ordering, finished ones are seldom available. To find out what is in stock right now, email daniladaddydread@gmail.com. Delivery cost and timing for your country are shown below the buy button.
