1B: the off-black that reads as real

Natural Black 1B curls use henlon, a high-temperature fiber that can handle heat up to about 150 °C. The Ariel spiral holds its shape without daily styling or product.
At the top of every strand sits a dense root, about 11 cm long and crocheted by hand. Below the root, the Ariel spirals hang free. Every set gets its final check from a maker who has over ten years of experience. Before packing, each piece has its curl pattern checked, and its thickness stays within 0.8–1 cm. Composition and volume
For each 10 DE in Natural Black 1B, you receive one braided accent and nine curly dreads. A 50-piece order brings 5 braids along with 45 curly dreads. A set of 70 includes 63 curly dreads and 7 accents.
There is no loop on a DE dread; it simply folds over a thin braid made from your own hair. So 10 pieces show 20 spiral ends.

Living with Natural Black 1B curls
Dark fiber hides dirt and wear better than light colours. Skip washing for two weeks after installation so the curls settle. After that, diluted shampoo every 7–10 days keeps the scalp fresh.
Squeeze the diluted shampoo through, rinse with cool water and blot with a towel. A sauna is fine for henlon, but let the curls air-dry instead of using a hot blow dryer. To restyle a curl with a flat iron, keep the temperature moderate and iron only through a damp cotton towel.
Curly dreads need attentive care. Never comb or brush them, because combing damages the curls. Separate tangled curls gently with your fingers. A knot that is tangled too badly can be cut off with care.

Excellent quality. The 1B black is the right kind of black, not that fake jet black look that you see everywhere on amazon. Curls are bouncy and recover well after sleeping on them, even my pillow doesn't flatten them. My only suggestion is to add more colour options for the silver charms in future.
