Creamy Beige to Blonde Ombre Smooth Dreads with Boho Wraps

Creamy Beige to Blonde is a set of 50 cm single-ended smooth synthetic dreads, made by hand from low-temperature kanekalon. The top is a soft greyish cream, the colour of crème brûlée, and it blends smoothly into natural blonde towards the tips. On some dreads, oatmeal-coloured thread is wrapped in a neat X pattern. In person the set looks warm rather than chalky, and the gradient stays soft in daylight instead of splitting into hard bands.

Thin accent plaits break up the surface at the sides. Every dread follows the same gradient, so these smooth dreadlock extensions look planned and boho rather than patchy. Indoor light brings the creamy beige forward, and afternoon sun brings out the blonde.

The top is a soft creamy beige with a slight grey note, gentler than mushroom and warmer than ash. Around the middle of each dread it starts to lighten and flows into natural blonde, with no hard line between the two. These smooth synthetic dreads have no plastic-yellow cast, because the colour goes into the fiber when it is made, not sprayed on later.

Up close, each dread is a clean, smooth line: no fuzz, bumps or ridges. The even surface comes from steam. After crocheting, each dread gets its own steam treatment by hand, and that is what sets the material. Nothing is coated on top.

The fiber is low-temperature kanekalon, the same as in the rest of our smooth line. It is not heat-resistant, so keep it below 60–70 °C. Each dread is crocheted slim, 0.8–1 cm along its full length, which suits fine hair well. The colour runs through the whole fiber, so shampoo, rain and pool water do not change it from one install to the next.

A comb and a crochet hook are all we use, and steam comes last; nothing is wrapped instead of crocheted, and no machine touches the fiber. That is the DaddyDread way with every smooth set.

Before the set ships, we check three things: thickness (0.8–1 cm along the whole length), even length, and colour. The final say belongs to a maker who has done this work for over a decade. The boho wraps are added while the dreads are being made.

This listing comes in SE format: single ended, 50 cm. Each dread has a small loop at the top: thread a strand of your own hair through it, then braid that strand down around the dread to hold it. Everyday Life With Creamy Beige to Blonde

Wash no more than once a week. One part shampoo to five parts water, worked into the scalp and rinsed out, is all they need; then let them dry flat on a clean towel. Do not comb or brush them: tip tangles come apart with your fingers, and a badly tangled knot can be cut off carefully.

Skip conditioner every time, because it makes the braids that hold the dreads slippery and loose. Keep away from saunas and hot hair dryers too: above 60–70 °C low-temperature kanekalon warps, and the smooth surface cannot be repaired.

At night, braid the whole set loosely into one low plait or put on a sleep bonnet. This simple habit keeps friction down and helps the set last.

When an install ends (usually after 1.5 to 2 months), loosen each braid from the scalp end first, shake the set free and store it flat in a breathable fabric pouch in a dry place. Do not squeeze it into a tight ball. Stored this way, these reusable dreads are ready for a second and a third install.
