Brown Wheat Boho Textured Dread Extensions with Curls

Brown Wheat Boho with Curls mixes curly and textured synthetic dreads, each one 50 cm long and double ended (DE). Each one is handmade in espresso, walnut and wheat-blonde, using low-temperature kanekalon for the dreads and henlon for the curls. The palette recalls a hazelnut orchard in late autumn: mocha bark, toasted walnut, and pale wheat where light catches dry leaves.

The textured dreads carry three coordinated browns. The curls are brunette with wheat highlights. Copper, white and ginger thread wraps tie the colours together. A set of 20 DE has 10 textured dreads and 10 curls, and in every ten one piece is a thin three-strand braid. The quantity selector shows the split for each size.

The three-brown palette and decorations

Espresso grounds the darkest zones with a deep, bark-like brown. Walnut is the mid-tone bridge: a classic brunette with subtle reddish warmth. Wheat-blonde tips complete the fade. They are light, but darker than true platinum.

Every textured dread carries the same espresso-walnut-wheat gradient. The bumpy relief shows across the whole surface and gives the set a lived-in look from the first install.

The curly part is a warm two-tone brown. A lighter chocolate base has wheat-blonde highlights threaded through it. The soft curls bring volume and movement when worn beside the textured pieces.

The decorations follow the earthy theme. Cotton thread wraps in copper, white and ginger repeat the set’s colours, wound in a cross-stitch pattern. Small gold-tone beads sit at irregular intervals among the wraps. Silver-tone pendants hang from jump rings on some strands. Brooches are not included with this set.

How Brown Wheat Boho with Curls is made

For the textured dreads in Brown Wheat Boho with Curls, we use low-temperature kanekalon. We backcomb the fiber with a comb, then crochet it with a 0.4 mm hook, or a 0.6 mm hook for thicker dreads. A boiling water treatment sets the relief, giving a raw, matte finish. Nothing is pressed or ironed.

For the curls, the material is henlon, which resists heat. Each textured set needs 1 to 3 days of work. The colour is added while the fiber itself is being made. So the shade does not fade or oxidise, and one batch looks the same as the next.

Brown Wheat Boho with Curls is sold in DE only, 50 cm long, as 20, 30, 40 or 50 dreads. These dreads have no loop; each one folds over a thin braid of your own hair. Single ended dreads are not offered for this set.

Care and reuse

• Washing: at most once a week. Dilute shampoo 1 to 5 in warm water and focus on the scalp. Rinse well and let the dreads air-dry.
• No combing: never use a comb or brush on the dreads. Separate tangles with your fingers. If one knot is badly tangled, you can carefully cut it off.
• Heat: keep the whole set below 60–70 °C. So avoid saunas, flat irons and hot blow dryers.
• No conditioner: the dreads sit on thin braids of your own hair, and conditioner makes those braids slip loose.
• Night: a loose low braid or a satin bonnet. Protect the curl tips from friction.

Brown Wheat Boho with Curls lasts 2–3 installs, each worn for 1.5–2 months. To take the set out, undo each braid at the scalp and let the dreads drop free. Store them in a dry place. You can put the dreads back in straight away, without a break between installs.

The three browns go well with beige linen, warm leather and terracotta, and look just as good with neutral, minimal outfits. For more depth or more curls, buy another set as well.
