Washing: Diluted shampoo (1:5) once a week, scalp only. Air-dry — never use a hot blow dryer. Skip conditioner — synthetic fiber does not absorb it.

Detangling: Do not comb or brush the smooth dreads — gently separate any tangled tips with your fingers. For stubborn tangles at the tips, cut through gently with scissors rather than pulling.

Heat: Avoid saunas and direct heat sources — keep any heat below 60 °C, because kanekalon fiber melts at 70–90 °C. The flat finish is steam-set and permanent, but high temperatures warp it for good. No heat styling necessary.
