Curly and Straight Synthetic Dreadlock Mix — Contrast Install

Mix of curls and straight sections through the same set, colour deliberately picked to contrast with the client’s own hair rather than blend into it. Some clients want the extensions to disappear; this one wanted them to read as a statement.
Here we used 50 dreadlocks

Installed in our studio in one session. The curl-and-straight mix takes a bit more planning than a uniform set. Curly pieces have to be distributed so the visual weight balances out, otherwise one side of the head reads heavier than the other by the end of the first week.
